GIMEL has a numerical value of 3 and means to lift up and give generously.
One who gives generously, as the Holy Spirit or Ruach HaKodesh does.
Divine perfection is established by the stability of three as is the triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Together they are One, in Hebrew, Echad.
It is the Holy Spirit that lifts up the Name of Yahweh and Yeshua
as it is a camel that carried Kings in the Ancient of days.
Gimel carries with it the power of the number 3. It is the 3rd Letter of the Hebrew Alphabet after Aleph and Bet.
The Godhead
- The triune Godhead is certainly a very significant aspect of the number three as each carries weight to establish this divine perfection.
- Let us review that Aleph, the head of the ox, or strength of the leader is the Almighty ABBA Father. All along God, Elohim (plural) has had a plan as together they are the Aleph and the Tov, the beginning and the end.
- Yeshua, is present from the beginning as stated in John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Yeshua is the house or Bet, that carries the glory.
- And the Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, He was present from the onset of creation as He is the Spirit of the Living God..
The more I study this letter, the more I find it to be a very important letter. As believers, when we are baptized by water and by fire, we receive salvation and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He is the transmitter of the power and learning to participate with how He functions is key. There is a sensitivity that we must tap into, a spiritual sensitivity.
The Power of the Ruach
Zechariah 4:6 This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, not by power, but by My spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
The Spirit, the Ruach, that indwells in us, is instrumental in leading us and prompting us in all we do. The more we are willing to engage with Him, and be sensitive to His lead, the easier we will traverse through the natural world. Let us be reminded of John the Baptist and the important mission he was given. He was to prepare the way for the coming of Messiah Yeshua and the onset of His Ministry, but also he was very humble.
The Resurfacing of the Prophet
John 1:22-23
[22]the people said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answet to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself? [23]He said, I am the voice of one in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the LORD, as said the prophet Esaias.
Understanding the purpose of John the Baptist’s life is important because we are just coming out of a period where the voice of the prophet in the Churches had been silenced. On their own, Pastors were more readily deceived. Without the Apostle, the Prophet and the Evangelist, the Church diminishes the supernatural power that operates through the Holy Spirit. The enemy was conniving and many Churches fell asleep. Some of the key benefits is the Biblical truth that iron sharpens iron. Many leaders reject the Five-Fold Ministry that is designed to function together with the power of the Ruach.
The resurfacing of the prophets was crucial to manuever the times in this last decade and will be crucial moving forward too. The Bible does say that the LORD will do nothing without first revealing His plans to His prophets. I stand with the prophets because I, too, got and get my share of spiritual intel. I don’t say that to boast but to recognize my own identity as the Father shares with me through dreams and visions, when I paint and often when I write. He does this with many others as well. We each are important to the plan. Our divine destinies should be safe guarded. The Holy Spirit makes sure that we pay closer attention especially if revelation of a vision for the higher ways of the Father are shown. It is a blessing to be able to dedicate myself fully to the things of the LORD.
The Leading of the Ruach
Also very important, is to be led by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel. We want to be prepared as a spotless bride for when our King calls us to join Him in the clouds. We should want to make sure our family, friends and whoever God calls us to minister to, receives an invitation to repent and be transformed by the great love of Yeshua, His amazing compassion for every sinner as there is none righteous among us. He came for the lost House of Israel and He came for anyone who would receive Him as LORD and Savior. Yeshua offers forgiveness for every sin. He came to show us how He untangles us from the bondage of the enemy and the power and authority of His Name. His blood sacrifice cleanses us and redeems us back to the Father.
We are in a time of great harvest where many will want to be free from the darkness they find themselves intangled in and we need to be the light and the salt, so others may receive as well. We want to be read as today matters. As long as we lift up Yeshua, the Holy Spirit can operate through us. If He can fill us, He can use us. The harvest is great and the laborers are few. When people evangelize and share the Gospel with others, it should be Holy Spirit led, and only in that way will it be effective. That is where the power to win souls comes from.
Some Gimel words are:
Gan – garden, to lift up life, plant seeds
Gavah – Majesty , pride, rise up, reward
Gamal – camel
Gomal – Benefactor, Bestower of gifts
Gimel – generosity
There is more on the GIMEL, so be expecting another GIMEL Lesson as the Holy Spirit moved strongly on me during this study and I have more to share.
