THE MYSTERY OF THE GIMEL (Part 2)
It is the Holy Spirit who operates as the forerunner for Messiah Yeshua into the hearts and lives of people today. The Holy Spirit, or Ruach HaKodesh in Hebrew, is sent from the Father to take us from the Bet, the house with the glory, and 2nd letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, to the Dalet, the door of a man’s heart, the 4rth Letter. He sends the Gimel, the Holy Spirit, the One who gives generously.
The first mention of the Ruach HaKodesh is seen in Genesis 1:2 and is best understood as the breadth of God or the wind of God and a co-creator. I wanted to establish this foundation as the Spirit is indeed God.
Genesis 1:2
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
We talked in the last Gimel segment about the power of the number 3 as the Godhead. Three is significant because it is the number for resurrection as Yeshua rose from the dead on the third day. Coincidentally, that day, 17th of Nisan, also 17th of April 2022, I was reading in John 20:22 and it struck me that that is the year we are in, and what Yeshua did before He ascended is exactly what the GIMEL message what showing me when I was led to add the dove, or symbol of the Holy Spirit to the artwork.
John 20:22
And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
Yeshua breathed on His disciples the Holy Spirit. He had told them prior of this Helper. Yeshua, here, was the Gimel, the One who gives generously, as He was the ultimate sacrifice for theirs and our redemption.
John 15:26 KJV
[26] But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
As I was preparing Part 2 of the Gimel Lesson, I feel led to give you a brief synapse of exactly how prophetic painting works…I didn’t plan how this Gimel would turn out but as I soaked in the Ruach and asked Him to fill me so I may feel His message, my heart was deeply moved and transformed. I had experienced this before but I was experiencing it again so I could vividly tell you about it. I laid the ultramarine blue carefully around the wings of the dove and I sensed a rigidness that needed to be penetrated much like when I first became a believer. The Holy Spirit prompted me to put softer purple and crimson tones to break the navy blue heart shaped element that formed around the dove. I got the memo immediately and came into agreement with what was transpiring. That was it. The message was crystal clear.
The Word of the LORD never comes back void.
Isn’t that what the LORD promised He would do to the lost tribes of Israel who had been scattered to the four corners of the world? Yahweh will send forth the Holy Spirit to make you ready to receive His Son, the Messiah Yeshua, that was rejected when He walked among you. The Holy Spirit will breathe into your hearts and change the way you see things to anyone who believes in Yeshua by faith. I can think back on three particular occasions where I became predisposed to receive Yeshua when I matured and understood it better. These fully marked me:
- Living in Rio de Janeiro, since age 5, where we visited the famous gigantic Christ, The Redeemer, soapstone and cement sculpture, perched high on the Corcovado mountain top, always made me feel a sense of awe and wonder. A spiritual sensation that I was too young to understand, but my heart and spirit received “something” that would forever make an impression on me. We also went many times.
- Again, living in Rio de Janeiro, and going into a Supermakert on Visconde de Piraja in Ipanema, there was a song that was blaring in the market and spilling onto the street and it was none other than Roberto Carlos’ song titled, JESUS CRISTO. Listen to this very catchy tune and see the different ways the Gimel works and recognize that the Father wants that none of us to perish from lack of knowledge. This song brings me such joy and followed me into my life and permanent memory as a transforming occasion.
- At 8 years old, we moved to Sao Paulo, and in my neighborhood, I had a little friend who’s family always welcomed me in and on one occasion we ate a dinner in her family’s formal dining room and at the end table there was a wall. Hanging on the wall was a sculpted statue of Yeshua on a crucifix, beaten, bruised, bloody and pierced. I could hardly eat, my focus was on Yeshua and I remember feeling a sad pain inside me and a sensation that also would never leave me.
Fellowshipping with God.
The Father will make ways only He knows will touch us. We just have to be receptive. It took years and much walking in the power of my own strength, making a mixture of good and bad decisions until I couldn’t live out the life I had settled for. I was dying on the inside and I needed rescuing badly. My rescue came and I have many stories to tell, many testimonies across many years of healing and reconfirming my life according to the will of the Father. So much so, that I begged Him to please make every decision moving forward for me. I gave Him complete control over my life and still do not make a move until He shows me more. It still takes many leaps of faith but each leap comes with confirmations, signals, blessings or redirecting. I’m getting better at seeing through His eyes, or atleast asking that He show me more through His lenses. Having the Holy Spirit in us after receiving Yeshua in our hearts, allows us to fellowship with God.
The Spirit of God uses us through the promptings of the Holy Spirit to minister to others, to promote healings and to be effective in the preparation of the Kingdom that is at hand. The voice of the Ruach animates us to do the works of the Father. This has led me also to start this DAS Blog. He showed me that I needed new wheels for my Ministry, or Prophetic Art Channel, whatever we want to call it.
Seeing how the Holy Spirit penetrated my heart and at the same time the dark blue in the painting, was a great reminder of just how the Spirit works in turning hearts of stone to hearts of flesh as is prophesied by Ezekiel to our Jewish brothers and sisters in the Old Testament. We will see more about this on the next letter, the DALET.
Ezekiel 11:19-20
[19]And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take the stony heart out of the flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh. [20]That they may walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. It is an affair in the heart.
If you can still your mind, reflect on your behavior, than the work of the Ruach can work in your heart, if you invite Him in. The Holy Spirit is humble and doesn’t speak for Himself. He only speaks for Yeshua, the Son of God. His attributes are quiet, and the Ruach goes into the world in order that you can learn of Yeshua, the house, the Bet. In Genesis 1:1, you will see that out of the Bet comes all of the Torah.
Isaiah 40:3
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
God spoke through the prophets over and over warning His people of what ordinances to follow and what not to do. God wanted nothing more but to shepherd His people after Adam broke covenant with the LORD and could no longer be restored to the Garden. Adam cried out and the Father took mercy on him and promised to make a way that this place of total protection where He walked with Adam in the cool of the day, would one day be restored. Adam lost the ability to see into the realm of God. He lost the ability to see the angels go all the way to the throne. From that day on, Adam walked in darkness, always afraid of being deceived.
When God speaks to our hearts, He works through the Holy Spirit. He has prepared a way to get the Holy Spirit into our lives. He has made a path through Yeshua that no man should live in darkness.
- 2 Samuel 22:29
For thou art my lamp, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkness.
- John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
- John 8:12
Then spoke Yeshua again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
This is the message of the GIMEL, the One who lifts up Yeshua and gives generously to those walking in darkness that their eyes may be opened, awakened from their sleep and have life everlasting as it was in the beginning. Let us not forget where we came from and where we are going. We are not citizens of this earth but of a spiritual Kingdom where Yeshua reigns from the Right Hand of the Father. It’s a beautiful and powerful message and I hope you receive it.
This also brings us to the next letter which is Dalet. The Gimel is sent forth to nourish one who lives behind a closed door, a Dalet, the man poor in spirit. Let us open our hearts to receive the Good News that Yeshua was the sacrificial lamb and that He paid the price for our redemption, that it is finished and that He is coming back for us. All we need is faith.
The Blessed Hope
Titus 2:13
Looking for the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Messiah, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (our Savior Jesus Christ).
Thank you for participating with me in these teachings. The Hebrew Alphabet is chalk full of layers and meanings intertwined in words breathed by God into the Bible. One can only teach in parts as there is so much to each letter. Hebrew is an alpha numeric system of letters and numbers. There is so much that can be said in how the number 3 alone is signifiant in the Bible. Since I am painting these letters prophetically, I share from the vantage point I am being shown and tying in much that I have learned from studying them as well from various sources.
If anyone is blessed by these teachings and wishes to set up a display of the letters in a room or place of prayer or worship, please email me directly and I will share what I have available. I have reproduced the letters in beautiful metallic photo reproductions in two sizes, (8″ x 8″) and (10″ x 10″). They can be purchased individually or as a set. Contact me at andrea@andreabeloff.com.
And if anyone wishes to make a donation, I would be most grateful.
