DALET – 4 – The Door to the Greater Mysteries.

The DALET is the 4rth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, or the Aleph-bet. The Dalet represents the open door, the gateway.

In John 10:9, Yeshua (Jesus) says, “I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

Yeshua reveals that He is the door in many passages of the Bible. Or the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father, except through Him. For this reason it is so important to come to this place or this position where the heart sees the need for dependance on his/her Creator. Since we are made in His image, there is an intuitive part of our being that longs to connect to its origins and its spiritual state. Yahweh made us special, like Him, so He can dwell among us and have that constant connection which our soul needs. He wanted so much to show us so much but sin got in the way by means of the great deceiver, the serpent of old, Lucifer. Since then we have been separated from the Garden of Eden and from ABBA FATHER. To restore us back to the Father, Yeshua came and lived the sinless life so He could be the ultimate sacrifice necessary to redeem us. He gave Himself, He was the sacrifice, He paid the price, so we could be blessed and redeemed back to the Garden.

What is required of us to get through the door?

What is required is a contrite spirit, a humble spirit, a repentant posture where we can learn to be obedient and follow what the Father wants from us. He has an order that we must follow, that we should want to follow. We have free will after all and to choose to drift our own ways, does have consequences and pitfalls, which put us in wilderness areas throughout our lives.

  • The DALET is also referred to as the poor man (poor in spirit) who is ready to receive.
  • The door is always open and Yeshua leaves the light on and we must also keep the flame inside us burning brightly.
  • It is through our hearts that we connect with Him in the spirit.
  • Gratitude connects us in the spirit.
  • Praise and worship are amazing avenues that lead us into greater intimacy with Yeshua.

Revelation 3:20 Yeshua stands at the door and knocks. If our hearts are open, we will hear His voice and open the door within. He will come in to us and feast with us, and we will feast with Him.

The experience in the spirit here is a supernatural experience. You may hear His voice, or He might appear to you and say something.  I will share some personal testimonies of some of these encounters. I am however wanting to go deeper and deeper and have visitations in heaven! That is what I truly desire.

  1. The very first personal encounter with Yeshua that carried so much revelation was after my divorce. My brokenness looked like a big puzzle scattered all over the ground. I literally had to pick up each piece and try and understand how I ended up in that situation. A lot of introspection took place. I repented and received Jesus in my heart also at this time.  I had a friend I was doing business with, who was staying at his brother-in-law’s home, who is an amazing photographer that travelled around the world and I spotted a beautiful photo of the Redeemed Christ, in Rio de Janeiro, that I spoke about in my last video. I bought a printed copy of it and searched at home for just the right frame to fit it into as I had been a framer and had many many frames around the house. After going through every closet, I came to a frame tucked in the depths of a coat closet, and lo and behold, it was the perfect frame for it and it had also been my Wedding picture frame! Only Jesus could orchestrate this! I immediately laughed out loud and came into agreement that I was His Bride and that He was right there watching me through this hunt, and since then I began to openly talk to Jesus when I had those AHA moments. It hangs in my room until today.
  2. Another experience that really marked me was in 2019, here in South Florida, when the giant hurricane Dorian was forecasted and moving its way towards the coast. The predictions were so frightening and I lived on a bottom floor two story apartment right infront of the Bay. I had gotten all my provisions. I had been in Hurricane Irma while in Naples, with my dad in his terminal condition and my dog, and I was scared but God provided a plan that completely guarded us from any harm and that really came as a miracle. Back to Dorian, I was in bed and praying to God wondering what was about to happen, if my rental apartment was going to get completely flooded or wiped out and all would be destroyed. I was a wee bit scared. I had recently moved there and didn’t know many people. I broke down but I seeked and seeked for some comfort and suddenly I heard a soft voice that said, “your house is yours forever.” I sat up as I hadn’t heard that voice before and found a notepad and wrote down what I heard and knew my God had taken notice of my distress. I didn’t own this place so I knew He must be referring to my heavenly home. I came into a total peace after hearing that. I was so grateful that He came to soothe me at that time. After that, I began to have more encounters, each very different from one another but more regularly. I got very close to ABBA Father and He really began showing me so much more. I was also a few months into beginning to follow Sabbath Services at a Messianic Congregation. I was really learning what Yahweh expected from us and I was obeying and the supernatural world did begin to open up to me.

Dalet has a numerical value of 4.

The Aleph-Bet is an alpha-numerical language, each letter corresponds to a number. In this painting we see the significance of four in the four elements: water, fire, earth and wind. There are four directions: North, South, East and West. And even though we now have four seasons, on the 4rth day of creation, God created lights that divide day from night. He created the sun and the moon and the stars which He placed in the firmament. These were to be for signs and for His seasons, seasons that deal more with the planting seasons.  All these are connected to Dalet.

The previous letter is GIMEL, one who gives generously, and it speaks of the Israelites who were brought out of Egypt with many riches, gold and silver. If they did not give back and they hardened their hearts with greed and pride, these turned wicked and the enemy tripped them up on the way to the Promised land and only a few reached it. The letters have an established order, and by their meanings a path is made. Sins and mistakes throw one off this path and the letters get scrambled and so does the walk. It took them 40 years for a destination that could have been reached in a few weeks if they had submitted fully to Yahweh and His ways. This path required a humbling and offerings to prepare them for the prize. So it is today.

2 Corinthians 8:9

For you know the grace of our Messiah Yeshua, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

The more we seek intimacy with Yeshua, the more revelation we get. The mystery is hidden and we must seek it. The nuggets are just waiting to be found. Yeshua said in John 7:37, “if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.”

Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added onto you.” This verse is perfect example of how first we must humbly submit, repent, obey and then the blessings will follow.

The Lord’s Prayer is another example, where we position ourselves first in humility, for His purposes, so that His will be done. This is the key to provision. We don’t chase and pray for provision. We submit in obedience and He is always ready to pour out His blessings, on earth as it is in heaven.

Just another cool thing. What do we get when we add a DALET to YHVH?  We get YHVDH or Yehuda (Judah), the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the tribe by whom Messiah was born and why we call Him the Son of David. That is His lineage.

How many cups of wine do we serve on Passover?   The answer is four cups of wine.

1) The Cup of Sanctification – based on God’s statement, “I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”

2) The Cup of Judgement – or Deliverance – based on God’s statement, “I will deliver you out of slavery.”

3) The Cup of Redemption – based on God’s statement, “I will redeem you with an outstretched arm.”

4) The Cup of Praise or Restoration – based on God’s statement, “I will take you to be My people, and I will be Your God.”

Some DALET words:

Delet – leaf of a door                            Dalaph – drop, drip, melt, leak

Dalal – hang, dangle, weaken              Davaq – cling, stick, cleave

Dal – poor, weak, low, powerless         Damam – be still, silent, rest

John 10:7-9

[7] Then Jesus said to them again, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

[8] All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

[9] I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

After we humble ourselves, repent, seek Him in our poor and weakened state, we walk through the door, having received Yeshua by means of our hearts, and we arrive at blessings or provision and revelation.

And that brings us to the next letter, HEY, behold or revelation. These first 5 letters really connect to one another because they all correlate to our relationship with God as individuals.

I hope this served to understand the DALET better. It is a very important letter.

So thank you for joining me up to this point.

If these teachings are blessing you and you feel led to make a donation, I would be most grateful. I also have prints of each letter and will be making the entire set available for Houses of Prayer and Worship centers, so please inquire with me directly if this might interest you. I personally really feel like the artwork magnifies Yahweh and is rich in prophetic meaning inspired by Him. This journey has been absolutely a blessing to me and for this reason I want to share it so it can be a blessing to others.
