LAMED – THE STAND OFF

LAMED is the 12th letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.

LAMED speaks of the authority of the staff and being trained to live in the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh,  knowing that He shows up to fight ahead of us, especially when big moves must pave the way for His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Being the 12th Letter makes it a number of Governmental Perfection.

LAMED has a numerical value of 30, significant for various reasons .

WHAT IS A STAFF?

Throughout the TORAH, we learn that as the Israelites were preparing to be delivered from Egypt, Moses was chosen to lead the pack.  He needed to be taught and trained in the ways of the LORD, as this operation was going to be marked by many signs and wonders as a significant time in history that the people were to impart to the following generations. The staff was the symbol of authority and Yahweh would prompt Moses to use it to establish His sovereignty among all peoples.

In the above painting, the use of the staff combined by the words of Yahweh, through Moses, brought on the 10 plagues, and more significantly their amazing deliverance that no one expected, the parting of the Red Sea and all the miraculous things that transpired there. It also brought the justice that would fall over Pharoah and his army in a single day.

The staff then is used to instruct, to shepherd the sheep and also to correct.

Psalm 94:12 HNV  Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O LORD, and teach out of your law;

Micah 7:14  Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell by themselves in a forest, in the midst of fertile pasture land, let them feed;

THE DESIGN OF THE LAMED

The Lamed is the 12th letter we come to in the Hebrew alphabet and it is the only letter that sticks up the way it does. It is marked by the YUD on the superior part, establishing the authority of Yahweh, the Right Hand of His power, for the pulling down of strongholds. Yahweh has appointed people throughout history to move others along as it is always His intention that none shall perish and that everyone be given the opportunity to come along as one body. It’s height gives us the highest viewpoint or perspective, that we may have the eyes and wisdom that God has imparted by the Tables of the Law.  As a Sabbath keeper, I have learned and loved reviewing the Old Testament year after year. There is always something to glean from The Torah. I believe Scripture is clear that the Ten Commandments were not abolished and that the LORD delights in our obedience for following it. I truly believes that is how he planned to keep the body of Messiah in One accord. Worshipping Yahweh the way He intended is a sure way to get the heart knowledge He desires.

Psalm 45:6 HNV   Your throne, God, is forever and ever.  A scepter of equity (righteousness) is the scepter of your Kingdom.

Learning qualifies us to be a leader. It was the King’s duty to write a copy of the Torah and meditate on it night and day, so he may learn to revere the LORD, Our God, and not elevate himself above the other people. The more we learn about the beautiful and powerful  attributes of the One we love, we develop heart knowledge of Him, besides literal and historical knowledge. The Torah teaches us what moves God, how deep and far and wide is His love and so many demonstrations of that.  When we lose interest in learning about the One we love, so too, our love for Him diminishes.

Psalm 119:92-93   [92] Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.

[93] I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life.

Isaiah 60:1-2    [1] Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. [2] For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

Thank you for continuing on this journey with me. We have passed the half mark of the Aleph- Bet.

  • The first 11 letters speak of our rescue. They speak of Yeshua rescuing us out of the world, out of darkness and into Himself.
  • The second set of 11 letters make reference to the journey or race we are called to persevere in, in faith, with courage and boldness in Yeshua until the end. In His strength we are victorious. Supernatural power is at our disposal by the authority of His Name for the pulling down of strongholds and if it is His will. On our own we could never make it to the Promised Land.

YUD – Time for Business

YUD is the 10th letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.

YUD speaks of the Right Hand of Power of YHVH.

It is a reflection of the deep love of the Father.

The YUD is the perfection of divine order

made complete by the sacrifice of Yeshua.

YUD has a numerical value of 10.

RealEyes.Live and the Time For Business is the name of the tune.

THE HAND OF GOD IN EVERYTHING

YHVH is always on the move and knows all things.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The YUD represents the Right Hand of Power of YHVH. The number 10 is also the fullness of the Aleph. It’s the smallest letter of the Aleph-Bet and yet it holds the entire universe. Even greater is the Father’s love for us that He has a redemption plan establish since the foundation of all creation. By Yeshua’s great sacrifice, we are blessed. Yeshua is who restored our ability to connect directly with the Father, YHVH.

THE REVELATION OF HIS NAME, YHVH

His Name means hand of power that reaches by a fresh air or open window revealing the VAV, the nail, Yeshua, Who connects heaven and earth, and brings  revelation to us. How powerful is that? This letter is suspended in the alphabet and is the spark of the Spirit. It is also a symbol of humility. It is also the most found letter in the Scriptures.  Interestingly, the prior letter Teth is the least found.

THE CYCLE OF 10 ESTABLISHES PERFECT ORDER

We find the importance of the number 10 all over the Word. There were 10 plagues that afflicted Pharaoh until he let God’s people go and worship Him. Pharaoh kept hardening his heart and God kept bringing the plagues until he submitted.  There is power in submitting if people only knew.

There are the 10 days of Awe leading to Yom Kippur which is the 10th day of the 7th month. There were 10 generations from Adam to Noah. There are 10 clauses to the Lord’s Prayer. 10 Commandments were given twice to Moses that we may live in the will of the Father. 10 Tribes form the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

We have ten fingers and ten toesthat makes God’s imprint on our own hands. A personal testimony relating to hands was when I first raised my two hands to worship God, He met me with Holy tingles all down my body. It happens often and it is such a reward for a heartfelt exchange. Even Satan has 10 kingdoms. We can conclude that 10 is the number of totality and perfect divine order.

SCRIPTURES FOR THE HAND OF YHVH

2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV

[17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle : set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

HEY – Behold! To Receive Revelation

Covered by the Glory Cloud of YHVH and having a Holy Fire to guide us. (Artwork)

HEY is the 5th Letter of the Hebrew Alphabet with a Numerical value of 5.

After opening the door of our hearts to Yeshua, the Holy Spirit indwells in us and revelations come forth.

The HEY is a combination of the DALET with an inverted  YUD inside and represents the Hand of YHVH indwelling in us, in our house, and can also be seen as the power of the open door.

1 Corinthians 3:16   Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Revelation of HEY is also interpreted as the transformation that we allow by means of receiving Yeshua into our hearts and then seeing just how much our spiritual life unfolds by the Spirit of God being in us.  Our senses begin to witness differently.  Our eyes will see more clearly because the veil is torn and now we have access to the Father and the greater mysteries of the Most High. The hardness of our heart loosens and we develop more compassion towards ourselves and others but especially in recognizing the great sacrifice of Yeshua, taking upon Himself, all the sins of mankind, and being forsaken by the Father, for those few days so that we may be restored to Him.

The realization of that should make our minds bend. This realization shatters all the previous boundaries that we thought sustained us and should brings us into total submission of what being saved actually means. God takes us into brokenness and then meets us there.

Salvation brought me to a place of thirst like I had never experienced before. My collapse now had some sort of explanation. That emptiness now had to be carefully considered and healing was necessary.  I didn’t ever want to feel as lost as I did when this divine transformation started to happened. I was devoted to digging, and learning, and knowing everything I could to know how to move forward. Even so, life happened and it all took time to unveil and being in a divorce with child custody battles did not help. My dream life also exploded. I was having vivid dreams all night long. Many even had real physical sensation but it took  years to learn to interpret them.  I went through plenty of fires until I learned  that ABBA Father was also with me through these trials. Years and years. I was consistent with attending Church and Bible Studies, and later, Theology classes. I am grateful that I had great Churches to learn from when my walk started.  Only in 2019 did I begin the Messianic walk. I was saved in a very spirit filled Christian Church in Carpinteria, CA called REALITY .

Without going too detailed into my story which actually was a very peculiar one, in a nutshell, I betrayed my own heart after a break-up where I just felt I would never love anyone like that again. It was a lie!  But that is what I did and I had no clue I had done that to myself until I picked up all the broken pieces to my puzzle one by one with the help of Yeshua by my side.

I had to relive a story by running into that person from the past to unlock this part of my heart that got frozen in time. My physical heart  went through the gauntlet from having been restricted by those words. To say it midly, when this happened, I literally felt like I was swarming around the heavens unable to get grounded at all. One dot started connecting to another dot, that then connected to a song, that then connected to a realization, and on and on it went. A very unusual experience that led to clarity, greater insight and restoration.

I discovered the culprit very soon after I was saved. I did not have my priorities in the right order. My Creator, YHVH, the GREAT I AM, ABBA FATHER, and YESHUA had not been first in my life, out of ignorance. Not having ABBA FATHER as my first love cost me everything and realizing that it was through Yeshua that I would be restored made the difference in my world. All started making sense. I was ready to rebuild from this new foundation that  completely shattered all I knew because it was also the greatest revelation. It was the greatest show of love and sacrifice, for me, to receive this blessing, undeserved, by His grace, and not by works, that I should boast.

It wasn’t overnight that my wiring was aligned. It took discipline, daily discipline to turn to this Triune God that would from now on sustain me. I remember learning that I had to constantly think, “Holy Spirit guide me now. Holy Spirit guide me now.” I would not move without saying that and feeling I was connected to my lifeline, Yeshua.

This really shows how much we are created to be dependent on GOD. Without that being instilled by a parent growing up, or coming to this full realization early in life, it is relatively easy to see how a young woman could make her first love be a man. I also was very attached to my dad since a very young age so that also explains how I may have transferred that to a man. Ladies…it’s a big mistake, is all I can say. I can’t help but hear in my spirit right now as I am typing, this Hebrew word, zacher, meaning to remember and this Scripture:

Matthew 6:33 KJV   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I love it in The Passion Translation:   So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s Kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given unto you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”

This serves to give an overview of the importance of the first five letters in the development of our relationship to the GOD MOST HIGH, YHVH,  the Godhead and how each one has a combined significance in our life, along with the Word of God, to be able to best keep on the journey.

HEY has a numerical value of five, 5.

The HEY, with a numerical value of 5 also relates to the 5th day of creation, to establish this solid understanding of our how powerful and amazing is our GOD and our interdependence with this Godhead, ELOHIM (in Hebrew, the word Elohim establishes this triune Godhead).  By the 4th day of creation, everything was prepared for what He had planned on the 5th day:

  • Aquatic animals, and caused them to multiply and abound.
  • Flying creatures or “birds”

This was a glorious demonstration of great genius, power, ability or creativity, and sovereignty, worthy to be praised. The Hebrew word, HAGAH, with its two HEY’s reminds us of this because it means to meditate, mutter, and speak forth. I love how the composition of the words tie in to the meaning of the words too. This is the genius of the Hebrew Alphabet and why it’s so fun to unveil it. The word, YADAH, which means “praise” breaks down letter by letter to the Hand of God, on the door of our hearts, that leads to grace.  Incredible! Knowing that brings new meaning to the importance of praising YHVH. And on the 6th day, He created all the beasts and animals after their kind and then MAN. The point is that by the 5th day, the stage was set to bring forth beasts and cattle after its kind and then man.

While painting the letter prophetically, I heard the famous words from the Field of Dreams movie, “If you build it, they will come.” Wise words for today, not to remain complacent. Push through with what you know to be righteous. The sound of HEY is also like a breath. Because it is a part of YHVH”s (YeHoVaH’s) Name, I equate it to the breadth of God and I say, take the breath and move forward in faith. After all, it was He who breathed life into us, so every breath is a reminder of Him. I have heard people ask, what does it mean to live by the spirit? If every breath is like acknowledging His Holy Spirit in us, than every breath should carry a sense of praise, honor and glory back to Him. That, to me, is an example of walking in the spirit.

The HEY than means to be highlighted, to be exposed, or to be revealed. Bringing something into focus and also putting a matter on display. A wind, or whisper, seen or unseen, a revelation, and even a guilty conscience.

Psalm 33:6   By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth.

Colossians 1:16   For in him all things are created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

In looking at God’s Name, YHVH (Yud, Hey, Vav, Hey) we observe the right hand of power that reveals the nail or the connector, that brings revelation. Yeshua’s Name is written all over it because the VAV is the connector, and Yeshua is the nail that connects heaven and earth. When you study  the Torah, you will start to see that Yeshua is concealed this way throughout the Old Testament scriptures in preparation for His coming but also as being present since the beginning. Knowing the layers of meaning in the Hebrew letters makes the Word of God come alive. Hallelujah!

Proverbs 29:18   Where there is no revelation, people perish.

So much can be said of the letter HEY. The one thing that the Holy Spirit highlighted to me when studying the HEY was the COVENANT.  Without the sacrifice of blood, there is no remission of sin. In Genesis 15, the LORD made a Covenant with Abram, gave him instructions on the required sacrifices and showed him, by the numerous stars, how many descendants he would have. While in a deep sleep, He also told him what they would endure for 400 years but that He would punish the nation they served and deliver them out with great possessions. He also told Abram he would live to a ripe old age. Abram believed all the LORD had told him and was counted as righteous. He sealed the names of Abram and Sarai with a  part of His Name, the HEY, the breath of life, God in them, and Abraham and Sarah conceived one year later their first son, Isaac. For this nation to be birthed, Abraham had the responsibility of defending life and that was a responsibility because the practices of the people out of Covenant were similar to the ones of today where abortions were normalized and for some children were even sacrificed. This was not God’s will and today that is not God’s will.

HEY is an amazing symbol of God’s loving and gracious attitude towards man. In God’s eyes, we are in Covenant with Him as well, when we receive Yeshua as our Messiah or Savior.  The shed blood of Yeshua and the markings of His wounds establish that Covenant with us. Being in Covenant establishes many blessings, but also brings many responsibilities to both parties. Marriages today are designed around similar covenant principles. Blood brothers are good friends that also make Covenant promises to protect and provide for each other and their families.

As we begin to think of the next letter, the VAV,  because seeing the Hebrew letters in pairs is very significant, like a walk, there’s one step that leads to the next step, we can conclude that what the HEY  reveals is Messiah Yeshua. Everything revolves  around Messiah Yeshua and all the world will one day know Him.

If you don’t know Yeshua, make today that day. Receive Him in your heart and allow the revelations to be highlighted and live a supernatural life in His light. Experience a love like no other and all the promises made. He is faithful. He seeks you. Seek Him too.

Once again, thank you for taking this journey with me and hope you got a better understanding of HEY, as revelation, and the amazing sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach, The Messiah. He came for those who are lost. He came to heal the sick. He came to tell us about the Kingdom to come. And we need to ready ourselves for His Kingdom. We serve an awesome King.  All glory to YeHoVaH.
